Course Director

Dr. Goutam, co-principal and co-owner of Frays Dental Centre since 1999, is a dedicated leader in dental education.
His commitment to advancing the field is evident in his
extensive postgraduate qualifications and his prestigious Fellowship with the College of General Dentistry.

He further bolstered his expertise by obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education (PGCE).
Dr. Goutam’s leadership played a key role in establishing Frays Dental Education (FDE), the educational arm of Frays Dental Centre. FDE boasts a remarkable 100%
pass rate, a testament to the program’s effectiveness. Numerous students have qualified as dental professionals through FDE, embarking on diverse careers in
dentistry, management, teaching, specialist nursing, and even postgraduate studies
including PhD programs.
Dr. Goutam takes great pride in FDE’s success in shaping the next generation of dental professionals.

Dr H Aggarwal, Joint Principal of FRAYS Dental Surgery for an impressive 25 years, is also a passionate and dedicated dental educator. FRAYS has achieved a notable rating from the CQC, a testament to the exceptional standards Dr Aggarwal fosters.

A firm believer in independent and out-of-the-box thinking, Dr Aggarwal encourages students to challenge themselves and discover an enjoyable, fulfilling career path in dentistry. This philosophy is reflected in FRAYS’ impressive track record – all past students have progressed after qualifying, with many achieving specialist nursing roles and some even becoming dentists themselves.

Dr Aggarwal’s diverse background adds another layer to my teaching. Holding a degree in Mathematics alongside my dental expertise allows me to approach education from a unique and analytical perspective.

Gunjan Aggarwal, is a very experienced dentist and one of the directors at Frays Dental centre since
1999.She leads Frays Dental Education to train dental nurses, where the entire teaching team along
with her is dedicated to not just teaching, but inspiring and engaging their nursing students
throughout their educational journey.
She takes immense pride in Frays Dental Education’s exceptional track record—a 100% pass rate for
dental nursing examinations. She believes in making learning enjoyable and stimulating, ensuring
that the students are not only well-prepared but genuinely interested in the subject matter. From
interactive sessions to practical demonstrations, she ensures an environment where curiosity thrives
and knowledge flourishes.
As an examiner for dental nurses and a dental trainer for dentists for several years, she brings a
wealth of expertise to the educational programs at Frays. In addition to her focus on teaching
excellence, she has got a Post Graduate Certificate in Dental Sedation from the prestigious Eastman
Dental Institute, bringing advanced expertise in sedation dentistry to the curriculum. This ensures
that her students are equipped to handle diverse patient needs with confidence and competence.

Administrator

Sumeeta keeps things running smoothly! With a background in psychology,
sociology, and computer systems, she brings a unique blend of understanding and
technical know-how to her role as course administrator.

She’s passionate about supporting students and ensuring everything runs according to plan (including regulations with NEBDN!).
